Opening Ceremony
Don Bosco College inaugurated its much-awaited College Week with an energetic and well-organised opening ceremony on campus. The occasion was graced by Mr. Katharson Ingti, School Inspector of Karbi Anglong and a renowned film actor, who attended as the Chief Guest.
In his address, Mr. Ingti spoke about the importance of holistic growth beyond the classroom. He shared that he himself is actively involved in various sports such as badminton, taekwondo, swimming, as well as travelling, and encouraged students to cultivate similar habits to build discipline, confidence, and a healthy lifestyle.
He praised Don Bosco College for providing a strong platform where young people can discover their skills and showcase their abilities. He officially commenced the College Week, declaring it open with words of motivation and warm wishes for all participants.
The ceremony included the lighting of the lamp, a welcome presentation, and vibrant cultural performances. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm as students looked forward to the days of events and competitions ahead.
