Guide to Admission
1. How to Apply
Option 1: Visit the school for offline admission assistance.
Option 2: Apply online through the DARPAN of AHSEC and select Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Diphu.
Application Form Fee: ₹500
2. Documents Required For HS Course
Attach photocopies of the following:
- Admit Card of CL. X Examination
- Registration Card of CL. IX
- Mark Sheet of CL. X Examination
- Pass Certificate of CL. X Examination
- Transfer Certificate from school last attended
- Character Certificate from school last attended
- Migration Certificate (to be submitted later, in original, by students from schools outside SEBA)
- Birth Certificate
- ST/SC/OBC Certificate, if applicable
- Certificates of co-curricular achievements, if any
3. Documents Required For Degree Course
Attach photocopies of the following:
- Admit Card of CL. X Examination
- Registration Card of CL. IX
- Mark Sheet of CL. X Examination
- Pass Certificate of CL. X Examination
- Registration Card of CL.XII
- Admit Card of CL. XII
- Mark Sheet of CL. XII
- Pass Certificate of CL.XII
- ST/SC/OBC Certificate, if applicable
- Birth Certificate
- Transfer/Character Certificate from the school last attended (After result)
4. Submission of Forms
For HS Course, submit the application form soon after the Class X results are declared.
For Degree Course, submit the form soon after the Class XII (AHSEC/CBSE) results are announced.
5. Selection
Admission is granted based on eligibility and verification of documents.
6. Admission Fees
Admission fees must be paid within the due date, otherwise, the admission will be cancelled.
7. Early Admission
For HS Course:
Students can take provisional admission before the results are declared by visiting the college, filling out the form, and paying the required fees. Those opting for the Science stream but not meeting the required percentage later may be asked to change their stream.
For Degree Course:
Early admissions to the College and Hostels begin on 1st April, even before the Class XII (AHSEC/CBSE) results are announced. Students can apply by submitting the admission form and paying the fees. After results, those not meeting the Honours eligibility may switch to another subject based on marks and seat availability.
8. Hostel Admission
Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls. Students are advised to apply for hostel admission only after confirming their college seat. Hostel admission forms can be collected directly from the respective hostels.
DARPAN Portal Guidelines
- Submit online form immediately after SEBA results.
- Internet Marksheet accepted initially.
- College will upload data and shortlist candidates on DARPAN.
- The last date for form issue and submission will be announced on the day SEBA results are declared. Students from other boards will be admitted later, depending on seat availability.
- Students with lower marks should apply to multiple institutions for better chances.
- Subjects can be changed only within the first month of classes.
