What Drives Us
Vision
“Inspired by the benign and noble teachings of Lord Jesus Christ who declared, “ I am the Way, the Truth and the Life”, and guided by the educational philosophy of St John Bosco, Don Bosco Senior Secondary School has the avowed vision of bringing holistic, quality education within the reach of all”.
Mission
“To provide an education that is participatory in nature, intellectually competent, multi-skill oriented, value based and socially committed, for the development of persons and enrichment of society “.
Don Bosco’s Philosophy of Education
Don Bosco built his educational system on three key principles: Reason, Faith and Kindness. He cared for young people like a loving father and devoted his life to their growth and well-being. For him, education was not separate from community needs. He believed that guidance, skill training and job opportunities were essential parts of true education. Accordingly at Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, we believe in:
- An education that is affordable to the average categories of society;
- Creating an educative family of students, staff and management, marked by transparency,mutual respect, constant interaction and caring support;
- Aiming at the integrated development of our students and empowerment of our staff - teaching and non-teaching;
- Building competence and skills for employability and quality of life;
- Inculcating the spiritual and moral value systems that sustain individuals and society;
- Extension services beyond the campus and beyond self.
