Awareness Programme on The Scheduled Tribes and Other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act, 2006 and The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 .
The District Legal Services Authority, Karbi Anglong, under the NALSA (SAMVAD) Scheme, 2025, successfully organized an Awareness Programme today at Don Bosco College, Diphu.
The session was addressed by Advocate Sonam Swamy from the District Court, Diphu, who enlightened the students on the importance of these Acts in safeguarding rights and ensuring justice.
